1. Two of them,Acicula schlickumi (Schütt 1967) andRenea pretiosa (Andreae 1904) were only poorly known on the basis of some incomplete shells, whileAcicula crassistoma is described as a new species.

Zwei dieser Arten,Acicula schlickumi (Schutt 1967) undRenea pretiosa (Andreae 1904) waren bisher nur in wenigen unvollständigen Gehäusen bekannt.

2. The main features of the new polychaete are: length up to 650μm; body divided into a prostomium (without any appendages), 7 segments and pygidium; segments 3 to 6 carry simple parapods as well as setae and aciculae.

4. Der Verfasser beschränkt sich daher vorläufig auf eine Beschreibung des neuen Polychaeten und auf eine kurze Diagnose der neuen Gattung.
